About

I create both one of a kind pieces and limited edition works in the ceramic medium. ACAD diploma ceramics, U of Calgary, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and returned to university in UK to complete my Masters of Ceramic Design degree in 2010. I enjoy both surface pattern work on premade china blanks, and creating form from collage of cast found objects or on a plaster lathe. The majority of my work is in porcelain as I love the translucency, pure whiteness and precious quality it brings to the work. The narrative has always been an important component of my work. Work has been presented in Liberty of London, Isetan Mitsukoshi, and Blue Tree, Madison Ave, NYC. My series pieces have been presented at Maison et Object, Paris, France, (3 yrs). and New York Now, NYC. I look forward to developing works with the new technology I have learned, in combination with my political views.
